We look  forward to this years event  and welcome everyone who believe they can meet the challenge on the sand. All equipment will be provided, so if you don't have a racquet, we can take care of that. So now there are no excuses!

The dates for the Aussie Champs are         January 11,12, & 13,2008

Schedule of Play:

Friday 11th January, 2008; Juniors (10 years & up);

Singles and Doubles from 10am

Saturday 12th January, 2008;  Men's & Women's Singles & Mixed Doubles.  Singles from 9am Mixed Doubles 12 noon

Sunday 13th January, 2008; Men's & Women's Doubles .beginning at 9am. Final at 3pm

Mapley Beach Tennis have been working hard and forming great relationships with the local community, business and the City of Port Phillip Council.

We wish to welcome the community and embrace grassroots sport.

Starts back on Tuesday 22nd January & Wednesday 23rd January at Port Melbourne beach for 4 week sessions.

Begins: 6:15pm with warm up from 6pm

Duration: approx.  1 1/2 hours

Cost: $50 per player for 4 weeks.  Weekly and Winner prizes!

Set to be a big year on the beach, as the warmer days are upon us.

Throw on the Boardies or whatever feels comfy, and get down to Beacon Cove, opposite Genesis Southport Gym.

Tuesdays nights is currently a mixed 2 person comp, incorporating singles and doubles, at an advanced level.

Wednesdays, enter a team or as an individual, and join our 4 person mixed comp, which has seen many new players gravitate to the game. Be quick we are now taking registrations for Season 2.

What a great opportunity for business houses and locals to enter as a team, or individuals to enter a more formal way of trying to better their game and skills in a highly social and fun environment. Teams will be made up of 2 men and 2 women and features doubles, mixed, played by all players. Teams will be graded based upon ability.

We hope to see you there and come together to join a journey of tribal proportions, BEACH TENNIS!

Friday: rest

Saturday 2nd February : Knockout Series Social Competition from 9am till 11am

Sunday 3rd February: Social Sessions for all 9:30pm till 1pm
