Since our open day in October, the weather has been great, and the energy and interest we have received has been fantastic.

Monday: Kids night from 4:15pm

Tuesday: Adult Twilight (4 week sessions) from 6pm

Wednesday: Adult Twilight (4 week sessions) from 6pm

In readiness for the 2nd Australian International Beach tennis Championships, in January, everyone is getting the bug and we hope to see more and more players join the tribe.

Set to be a big year on the beach, as the warmer days are upon us.

Currently we are in the later weeks of Season 1 of the Twilight Beach Tennis Team Comp. with the RBar team of Tuesday nights sitting undefeated in 1st place!  Must be all the good food Di serves up at the Rbar.

On Wednesday nights the Exchange Hotel team sits in first place!   Not sure if Wednesday nighters like beach tennis or drinks afterwards at the London better! Team Spirit of Tasmania, has now recruited well, they are on track and knocking on the door. Finals time is next week for the teams so come down and watch!  Tuesday & Wednesday from 6:15pm

Players are signing up for Season 2 already.  So get in quick to secure your spot!

Throw on the Boardies or whatever feels comfy, and get down to Beacon Cove, opposite Genesis Southport Gym.

Tuesdays nights is currently a mixed 2 person comp, incorporating singles and doubles, at an advanced level.

Wednesdays, enter a team or as an individual, and join our 4 man mixed comp, which has seen many new players gravitate to the game. Be quick we are now taking registrations for Season 2, to lead us up to Christmas, don't miss out.

Tuesdays Session 2 begins on December 4th for 3 weeks.

Wednesdays Session 2 begins on Wednesday December 5th for 4 weeks.

So practice hard and get on board, we look forward to giving you more beach tennis and making your life better for it.

Twilight recommences after the break on the week of January 21

Also what a great opportunity for business houses and locals to enter as a team, or individuals to enter a more formal way of trying to better their game and skills in a highly social and fun environment. Teams will be made up of 2 men and 2 women andfeatures doubles, mixed, played by all players. Teams will be graded based upon ability. Matches will commence on time. Warmup at 6pm start 6:15. Duration is approx 1 1/4 hours, with the fast moving and scoring systems adopted. Introductory cost is $50 per player for 4 weeks.  Weekly and Winner prizes!
